What inspired you to begin your creative
journey?
I've always loved
photos and creating and LOVED the idea of a photo scrapbook that would include
all the details. It was over 12 years ago that I started and I still LOVE it!
Perhaps even more so now that I have children and can include all the little
tidbits in their albums that would otherwise be forgotten.
If you were to describe your scrapbooking
style in five words, what would they be?
Layered, distressed,
stitched, balanced, meaningful
What type of camera do you use?
IPhone camera and Canon DSLR
Where do you do most of your scrapbooking?
I'm lucky enough to
have a dedicated scrap room!
What time of day are you most creative, and
what inspires you to create?
Lately, with two
active small children, I've been scrapping in snippets of time that I can find
here and there when the kids are otherwise occupied. I'm inspired mostly by the
stories I want to tell in my layouts and the photos that I love. Sometimes when
I have some new supplies that I love I just have to create straight away!
Why do you love sketches?
Sketches rock
because you already know where to put everything and that the layout will be
balanced so I love to focus on trying a new technique or paying particular
attention to my embellishments, story or colour combinations as I don't have to
think about the design!
