Introducing...Linda Zanotto

Rounding off the design team this term is the talented...

Linda Zanotto

Located | Australia

Preferred scrapbooking medium | 12x12 paper and glue

What inspired you to begin your creative journey?
I used to be a cross stitcher then a quilter and I enjoyed making handmade gifts for my close friends and family. Then when a dearly loved family pet died, I decided to give scrapbooking a go and scrapbooked an album of all our family pets as a gift for my mum. I loved it so much that I continued from there. Now I just love scrapbooking my kids and creating a journal of their lives.

If you were to describe your scrapbooking style in five words, what would they be?
Clean, fresh, simple, neat, elegant (sometimes!)

What type of camera do you use?
Nikon or my phone!

Where do you do most of your scrapbooking?
At Scrapbook Savvy or at home on the kitchen table.

What time of day are you most creative, and what inspires you to create?
I am probably most creative at night after the kids go to bed, but that's more because I have the time then to create. I get my inspiration from fellow scrapbookers mainly and I am constantly thinking of ideas for my next scrap page when I am taking photos of my kids!

Why do you love sketches?
I love sketches as they give you a place to start with your page, especially when the inspiration isn't flowing. Most of my layouts begin with ideas from sketches.
