It's been a while since we've released a sketch featuring an oversized photo! This week's sketch is sure to challenge...but remember, all Inspired Blueprints sketches are open to interpretation. Let's see how the design team tackled this one...
Layout by Amanda Lawrence
Instead of the 6x8 photo, Amanda has used the area as a photo mat to display 2 smaller pictures. Other than that, Amanda has stayed quite true to the sketch.
Azumi had mirror imaged the sketch, using a smaller photo and oversized title to fill the space of the 6x8 photo featured in the sketch.
Chloe has used a smaller photo for her layout, and reduced the size of all of the other elements to retain the scale of the sketch.
The 6x8 photo area on the sketch looked like a file folder to Dana, so she added one to her page and topped it with a smaller photo and some embellishments.
Gail changed the position of a couple of elements such as the title and tab and also added a couple of layers under her photo!
Linda replaced the 6x8 photo with a 4x6 photo, and moved the flag banner to the other side. All other elements remain the same as the sketch.
This layout was the inspiration for this week's sketch! A fun washi tape border frames Lisa's layout, while loads of embellishments wrap around the fun photo of her daughter.
Maria has stayed fairly true to the sketch, adding more flowers/foliage, and omitting the tag feature.
Tessa loved the 6x8 sized photo! Tessa has turned the sketch so that it worked with better with this picture of her daughter in the pool. She has kept the other elements the same except for the banner- which was added along the top of the layout rather than over the photo.
